Ben Garate is Senior Pastor at Calvary Chapel of Montrose. He was saved at the age of 13, and rededicated his life to the Lord in January 1982 at Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, CA. He was ordained in 1993 at Calvary Chapel of Vista, CA. The Lord moved he and his family to Colorado in January 1995 and onto ministry in Montrose in May 1996. He and his wife, Judy have 4 children, a daughter-in-law, three sons-in-law and 6 grandchildren. Mike Shaver is Associate Pastor at Calvary Chapel of Montrose. He was raised in a Christian home, left the faith during college training for teaching high school, and rededicated his life to the Lord in 1982 after being exposed to science evidences for a young earth and universe. He was ordained in 2001 in Montrose. He and his wife Jean have three grown children and a beautiful daughter-in-law. Mike's desire is that the reasonableness of scripture be taught.
