It is our goal that the children who attend Calvary Chapel Montrose develop a life-long love for Jesus Christ and a desire to walk in His ways.  Our purpose in Children’s Ministry is to teach biblical truths in a child-centered, relevant, and creative way.  We desire to give our children the opportunity to discover God’s truth through reading the Bible book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse, so that they will learn the full counsel of God.

Proverbs 22:6 "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."

The Vision and Goal of Women’s Ministry:
It is our desire to bring women together in Christ for encouragement, exhortation, accountability, friendship, service and most of all, spiritual growth. We are dedicated to developing a Christ-centered community of believing women who are committed to living out their lives according to the Word of God and the Will of God.

We desire to help women grow in humility and look for ways to serve others. (Phil. 2:3-5). We desire to teach women to grow in love (1Thess. 3:12) and to forgive others (Colossians 3:12-14). And we desire that all women will gain a desire to grow spiritually (2 Peter 1:5-8).

Calvary Chapel Montrose Men’s Fellowship

The Vision and Goal of the Tuesday Night Bible Study:
Tuesday 7pm - Beginning September 12th, 2017 at 7pm

This Bible study is for men of all ages.  It is our desire for the men at Calvary to apprehend all that the Word of God has for them; that they will stand in the victory Jesus has given them and that they will lay hold of the Word of God, apply it to their lives and allow it to transform them into the image of Jesus Christ.  We desire for all men to develop godly character and influence their world for Jesus.

Philippians 3:13 "Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead.”

Calvary Chapel Montrose Jr. High Youth Ministry exists to create a safe place for young people to grow in their knowledge of who God really is.  Our desire is for them to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a life-long desire to grow in the grace and knowledge of Him through the reading of His Word.  We focus on helping these young people to understand and apply the Word of God to their everyday lives so that they will be disciples who love God, share Christ and serve those around them.

Micah 6:8 “He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?"

We are The Reclination Project. Our name comes from the story of Matthew, when Jesus called him to follow (Matt. 9:9-13, Mark 2:13-17, Luke 5:27-32). The first thing Matthew did was invite a large gathering of people he knew to meet Jesus. The Bible tells us that a large group of people gathered at Matthew's house and "sinners were reclining with Jesus." While the sinners were reclining with Jesus, the religious people were on the fringes of the gathering murmuring and complaining, never engaging Jesus, but targeting His followers. They were present but never took the time to recline with Him. Our aim is to be a people of whom it is obvious that we have "Reclined with Jesus". With so much busyness and so many distractions and difficulties in our lives today, it is so easy to become overwhelmed and settle for mediocrity in our Christianity because we fail to consistently Recline with Jesus, and invite him into every moment of our lives.

Our faith in Him and His redemptive work is based upon God's Word, from which we receive hope, and these three pillars of The Reclination Project:
We Believe Our God is a Great God (Psalm 95:3, Col. 1:15-20)
We Believe that He Loves Us (John 3:16-17, Romans 5:8)
We Believe He has Called Us to Love (Mark 12:29-31, Matt. 6:33)
